Reducin contains 120mg of Orlistat, best known as a gastric and pancreatic lipase inhibitor for obesity management. It acts by preventing your body from absorbing too much fat.

Orlistat is normally given as a treatment for obesity, especially in individuals with other conditions such as diabetes, heart diseases and high cholesterol or hypertension. This drug belongs to a class of medications known as lipase inhibitor, which blocks fats from being absorbed. Instead, this fat passes through the intestines and is excreted in the stool. It helps reduce and maintain weight, as well as to minimize any weight regain.
What is the recommended dosage of Orlistat?
-Orlistat should be taken with a meal — it can be taken before or one hour after a main meal. Or take Reducin as prescribed by your doctor.
What if you missed a dosage?
-If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume to the usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed dose.
When should you not take Orlistat?
-Not intended for pregnant and lactating women

-As early as 2 weeks, weight loss should be noticed and your doctor should be informed if your condition improved or worsen
-After 6 months of usage, weight loss should be visible and noticeable. The amount of weight that’s lost may vary depending on your body.
-If there is no improvement, seek your doctor’s advice.
-If you are to undergo surgery, it is best to seek physician’s advice about medicine intake before surgery. Physician must also advise when is the best time to take your medicine or any kind of drug for that matter.
