5 Ingredient Energy Bites!
If you’re like me, one of those who need a lot of energy on a daily basis because of work and life, it could be hard to balance everything. Sometimes I find it hard to keep a good mood just because I’m always super busy, stressed out and tired.
Before, I would resort to caffeinated drinks like coffee and energy drinks until I developed hyperacidity and other discomfort that it brings so that’s when I knew that I need to have a change in my lifestyle. Aside from the fact that I am trying my best not to get stressed out a lot, I figured out a very quick energy-boosting snack that I can make without added stress and hassle. Hopefully, it will help you as much as it helped me:
The Peanut Butter Energy Bite
- 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup ground flax seed or wheat germ
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Combine all 5 ingredients in a bowl and stir everything and place in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
- Roll into 12 bites and store for up to a week
Flax seed is loaded with fiber, healthy fats and nutrients, Peanut Butter is filled with healthy fat, protein and fiber while giving energy boost and Rolled Oats is a good source of fiber, protein and nutrients. This snack doesn’t only provide nutrients, but also an energy kick! Aside from this snack, you can have a fix of energy boost when you feel like stress is creeping out through food supplements with combinations of Taurine, Ginseng, Sodium Ascorbate, Vitamin B1, B6 and B12 can also help in providing daily energy boost as these components may have the ability to provide extra energy while improving alertness and focus.
Taurine and Ginseng promotes alertness, reduces stress and provide energy boost, Sodium Ascorbate helps in tiredness prevention and muscle weakness, Vitamin B1 aids in converting food into energy, Vitamin B6 enhances metabolism speed and Vitamin B12 aids in energy production. Now if you think it’s hard to find a product that has benefits like this and caffeine free, I am sure you’d like the new Robust Energy.
